What Will the Apprentice Be Doing?
Responsibilities and duties include:
Meeting and greeting customers within the store.
Assist with in-store, telephone and email enquiries from retail customers and trade.
Answering the telephone with confidence, have good listening skills and being clear and precise with an understanding of needs and displaying attention to detail.
Checking in deliveries.
Booking items into stock.
Carry out stock checks.
E-commerce, picking, packing and sending.
Organising all data capture to ensure that customers are communicated with effectively and every opportunity for selling and promoting the activity of the Parts department is fully maximised.
Making sure that Parts Aftersales CSI scores reflect the expectations of the business and manufacturers.
Developing and maximising every opportunity for the sale of parts & accessories.
Ensuring the correct and efficient supply of parts to the workshop as and when required.
A passion for motorcycles is an absolute must as is the ability to deliver results.
A good technical knowledge of motorcycles together with the ability to communicate clearly with both the workshop and customers.
What Training Will the Apprentice Take and What Qualification Will the Apprentice Get at the End?
The successful candidate will work towards achieving their Apprenticeship Standard qualification in Trade Supplier Level 2
A dedicated work-based trainer will be assigned to the candidate to provide them with support and guidance throughout the course.
This is a predominently work-based programme with College attendance required once a month. All learning will take place at the candidate's place of employment/College and within their contracted working hours.
