Apprentice Carpenter & Joiner - Bench/Furniture Manufacture - Krantz Design Ltd

Krantz Designs are looking for an Apprentice Bench Joiner to join our growing team. We are a well-established and growing company with a stunning showroom in the Bailgate area of uphill historic Lincoln. As an Apprentice Bench Joiner, you will learn the crafting and assembling of wooden components to create high-quality furniture and fixtures.

What Will the Apprentice Be Doing?

The successful applicant will have excellent communication skills, be approachable and enthusiastic.

Responsibilities:

  • Learn the skill of Bench Joinery and Furniture Manufacture.

  • Learn about High End Furniture Craftmanship.

  • Be a part of a successful and passionate team of skilled Joiners

What Training Will the Apprentice Take and What Qualification Will the Apprentice Get at the End?

  • The Apprentice will work towards their Apprenticeship Standard in Level 2 Furniture Manufacture

  • The successful candidate will be assigned a dedicated assessor who will provide support and guidance throughout the course. This is a Day Release programme which means you will attend Lincoln/Newark College, 1 day per week, term time only. This will fall within your contracted working hours.

What is the Expected Career Progression After this Apprenticeship?

  • Permanent position available on successful completion of the Apprenticeship

  • Progress to a qualified Bench Joiner within the company, which can lead onto supervisor / management roles over time as the company grows.
