Do you want to study further education courses in the UK but English is not your first language? Are you finding that communication is holding you back from progressing your education? This course will help you.

If you are aged 16-18 and your first language is not English, this course will prepare you to enter the world of further education and gain other qualifications.

The course covers Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing, as well as essential skills for the workplace, maths, and a knowledge of British culture and values.

You will also get real practice in the workplace with our Work Experience programme, and your Progress Coach will help and advise you to take your next steps in the UK education system.

You’ll need basic communication skills in English (Entry Level One).

Assessment: Our initial assessment will check your four skills (Speaking, Listening, Reading, and Writing) and select the level of your course.

Progression: This course will allow you to access our further education courses.

You’ll need some general stationery items and access to the Internet.

Fees listed are for those aged 19 years and over only. Fees are subject to change. Support for fees may be available, such as fee remission or the Advanced Learner Loan.
