We have state-of the art equipment, including a fully-equipped TV studio, editing suites, a photography studio and darkroom; so whether you are producing films and visual effects or learning how to take impressive photographs, we will prepare you for a career in the industry.
Many students may choose to enter the industry as freelance filmmakers or create their independent productions. This path allows for creative freedom and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.
Starting as a production assistant in various departments, such as a camera, lighting, or art, is a common entry point for many aspiring filmakers.
These roles provide valuable on-set experience and the chance to learn from professionals whilst working their way up the industry ladder.

Holly
Creative Production Media student Holly is in the Level 3 pathway.
Holly has been busy expanding her portfolio with a range of work experience opportunities during her time at college - from making content for local businesses to developing animations for entrepreneurial ventures, Holly has developed a great skillset to pave her career beyond college.
In September 2024, Holly will be starting at the University of Lincoln to study Animation in Visual Effects.
