Lucy Bell
Alumni student Lucy Bell is a shining star from our School of Food and Hospitality, Lucy maximised enrichment opportunities at Lincoln college, including a Michelin star work experience and restaurant opening, head chef opportunity and a full-funded Erasmus trip to Denmark.
Since her time with us, Lucy Bell has set sail on an extraordinary culinary journey. She now thrives as a private chef on a luxury yacht, exploring the world one delicious dish at a time.
David
Level 3 student David shares his experience in the Food & Beverage Supervisory course. This programme offers a fantastic opportunity to develop leadership skills and oversee Level 1 and 2 students in the School of Food & Hospitality!
David’s favourite cocktail to make is an Espresso Martini as he works with coffee a lot in our barista training area but also in his work experience at Starbucks.
Recently, students had the chance to work at a wedding event at Sessions Restaurant, where they learned how to handle tabs, conduct mixology workshops, and serve a delicious three-course meal.
Adefunke Watson
Ade, a first-year Level 2 student in Catering & Hospitality has recently been enjoying learning a wide range of barista techniques, from making cappuccinos to perfecting flat whites, at our top-of-the-range barista training workstations.
During her first term, Ade gained valuable experience by organising and hosting a memorable large-scale wedding event. She and her classmates served exquisite three-course meals and a variety of beverages to the guests!
In the future, Ade aims to pursue a degree in business management at university, with the ultimate goal of opening her own business. Our courses not only provide great practical experience but also the necessary UCAS points to get you on the right path!
