Our courses explained
Jacobean Edwards
Last year Jacobean secured a bronze medal representing Team GB in the 2023 Nihon Dutch Open in visually impaired judo.
Since then, Jacobean has gone on to participate in numerous other tournaments, including the IBSA German Open in Heidelberg where he bagged another well-deserved bronze medal, going up against the world number 29 and world number 32 fighters.
He has also competed at the Visually Impaired British Open in Cardiff, adding yet another bronze medal to his collection, the Lincoln ARC Championships earning a gold medal in the senior's category and a bronze medal in the 14-17 category!
Georgia Alfery
Georgia, on the Level 3 Sport Science and Physiotherapy course has been a distinction standard student over her two-year course and will be moving onto university next year!
During her first year at college Georgia chose to enrol onto a Level 3 Sports Therapy course alongside her studies where she conducted her studies online to achieve an extra qualification to make her more employable and with it in mind to gain some hands-on experience.
Once she completed this course she gained a paid role at Lincs Injury which is a local sports therapy business which was set up and run by a former student.
Despite her part time job as a sports therapist and extra continued professional development she has chose to complete as part of her studies, she has maintained high levels of assignment submissions and high attendance and punctuality throughout her studies.
Chloe Errington
Chloe has just wrapped up her studies with us on the Level 3 Sports & Exercise Science programme. After being with us 2 years she has the insider knowledge of college life.
